Bulletins
For OS 10.4 Tiger and Final Cut Pro 5 compatibility with KONA, you must install Version 1.1.1 or newer KONA software. Links to the software updates are provided in the Software Download section.

Note: For users of AJA desktop products on Apple OSX 10.3.9 or OSX 10.4.x Tiger, whose storage is Apple Xserve RAID, we strongly recommend installing the following driver update from Apple:

Recommended KONA LS System: Macintosh dual processor G5, and a Fibre Channel or SCSI external RAID for uncompressed SD storage.

Minimum KONA LSe System: Power Mac G5 (dual) PCI-Express, 2GHz with 1GB or more RAM. Ensure your Macintosh has a PCI-Express slot for compatibility.

Recommended KONA LSe System: Power Mac G5 PCI-Express (dual) 2.3 GHz or, for best performance a Quad 2.5GHz with 1GB or more RAM.
